Emergency Medical 服务 Technology - Level 3 | Associate of Applied Science
A paramedic is a health care professional whose primary role is to provide advanced emergency medical care for critical 和 emergent patients who access the emergency medical system. The purpose of this program is to produce competent entry-level Paramedics who can provide the highest level of out-of-hospital care. Students are eligible for National Registry testing 和 certification, upon successful completion of this program. This credential leads to Paramedic licensure or certification in Virginia 和 most other states. This program is offered in cooperation with Southwest Virginia Community College. While completing this degree, you will also earn Emergency Medical Technician Plus 和 Advanced Emergency Medical Technician Career Studies Certificates.
Upon completion of this program, you will be able to:
- 理解, apply 和 evaluate the clinical information relative to your role as an entry-level paramedic,
- demonstrate technical proficiency in all skills required of an entry-level paramedic 和
- demonstrate personal behaviors consistent with professional 和 employer expectations for the entry-level paramedic.
This program qualifies for G3 scholarship funding!
G3 covers tuition 和 fees for individuals living in Virginia who qualify for state financial aid.
